The NACL held its second live event in March 2020 as part of the Fanshield 500 Speed Fest at the Phoenix Raceway. The nonprofit held live NASCAR Heat 4 qualifiers with the winners advancing to participate in a tournament, which took place in the Gamer Garage situated in the Phoenix Raceway infield. Playing in a time trial format, players with the top six times in qualification advanced to the single elimination stage.

Sam Sanchez defeated John-Michael Mathis in the final race. As a result, Sanchez won a VIP package that included a ride around the Phoenix Raceway in the pace car, a meet-and-greet with professional drivers, and a picture with LS Tractor 200 winner Brandon Jones at Gatorade Victory Lane. The NACL also runs online tournaments involving games such as Apex Legends, League of Legends, and Madden 20.
